Courses for English Language Learners

OUR GOAL
To develop a workforce that is able to understand, speak, read, and write fluently in English to assure high levels of confidence and productivity. In addition, the course sequence aims to prepare English language learners to successfully complete the TOEFL test required of immigrants seeking admission to colleges and universities.
OUR COURSES
ASPD ESL courses are designed to help your workers learn English within the context of the workplace environment (e.g., medical, hospitality, food service, etc.). Courses are structured to provide success and development along the natural language learning continuum (entering, beginning, developing, emerging, bridging, and reaching).
OUR BACKGROUND
ASPD is committed to assuring a workforce that is able to understand, speak, read, and write fluently in English. Our approach respects the native language of the individual and uses it as a tool for learning English.
Since 2008, hundreds of teachers completed coursework requirements required for credentialing as an elementary or high school teacher ESL or Bilingual teacher through ASPD’s ESL and Bilingual Endorsement Academy.
Chapman [soon Bradman] University awards graduate credit for our programs. This partnership with a fully accredited, prestigious, private university is evidence of program quality. As a result, the number of attendees continues to grow as ASPD expands service delivery into additional states and school districts.
