Since 2003, ASPD has been living out its mission of helping people achieve ... strategically.
ASPD's flagship ALTERNATIVE FAST-TRACK ENDORSEMENT PROGRAM has provided over 1000 educators with fast-track graduate credit coursework which has enabled them to earn ESL, Bilingual, Reading, and Special Education endorsements (add-ons).
Credits earned from the University of Massachusetts Global, our credit-granting partner, have also been used by thousands of others to fulfill annual professional development and relicensing requirements, and for removing licensing deficits when seeking licensing in a new state.
Fast-Track ESL and BILINGUAL endorsement (add-ON) coursework
ASPD's unique partnership with University of Massachusetts Global allows practicing educators to complete coursework requirements for additional endorsements and add-on license areas in just a few months. This fast-track model provides educators with the additional professional coursework needed to assure every student is taught by a properly licensed educator ... particularly our multilingual English learners.
Courses are offered fully online in both synchronous (via Zoom) and asynchronous (instructor-supported, self-paced). Many states have pre-approved University of Massachusetts credits earned through our programs. (Currently, this list includes IL, LA, NM, and NV.)
Customized Onsite support and PD Services
ASPD regularly partners with Districts and individual schools to develop customized traditional, blended, and fully asynchronous professional learning opportunities to prepare school leaders and classroom teachers to address local needs.
While there are many professional development providers, ASPD is uniquely positioned to develop customized programs with graduate level academic or professional development credit for the school leaders and classroom teachers participating in these programs.
