ALL PARTICIPANTS are required to have an active subscription to Grammarly.com while enrolled in ASPD courses.  Grammarly is used for editing written assignments and deepening awareness and understanding about Academic English.

About ASPD/Brandman courses

  • ​All courses are delivered by ASPD in either a blended format, or fully online. 
  • Credit is issued upon successful completion of a course by Brandman University through its School of Extended Education.  
  • Brandman is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Brandman credits are fully transferable subject to the requirements of the receiving institution.  Individuals are solely responsible to verify with the receiving entity that credits will be accepted for the desired purpose  (e.g., endorsements, add-on certification, recertification, salary advancement, electives, etc.).

Benefits of BLENDED DELIVERY (mostly online) courses
  • Courses are offered during the Academic Year, and in a Summer Intensive.
  • ​Fast-paced:  About 7 week per course
  • ​Each Blended Delivery course includes 5 face-to-face sessions scheduled at specific sites, as indicated.
  • The remaining 1/2 to 2/3 of the course is completed online.
Benefits of FULLY ONLINE courses
  • Up to 11 weeks allowed per course.  Faster completion possible.
  • ​Fully online courses have new start dates on the 1st of every month.
  • Online courses are 100% self-paced and instructor supported.
  • Those who wish to start early may complete an inquiry form on the ASPD home page after registering for a course. 
  • Only one active registration is permitted at a time.
ABOUT THE COURSES
  • ​All courses are delivered by ASPD.  Some courses are fully online.  Others are delivered in a "blended" format which combines on-site and online.
